The beam pumping unit has been a mainstay in providing a reliable artificial lift solution for the oil and gas industry. Liberty Lift is a manufacturer and supplier of beam pumping units and brings a management team with decades of artificial lift experience, including the design and engineering of many competitive products used today. And, the company has taken the leader’s role with cutting-edge product design innovations, exceptional quality control during manufacturing, and field service that provides installation and maintenance excellence throughout the unit’s lifecycle.
There are several specific ways that Liberty Lift distinguishes itself from competition. Its manufacturing procedures, exceeding API Q1 standards, are comprehensive.
Liberty Lift has a broad range of sizes in two distinct model types to fit the most rugged producing applications.
The high efficiency (HE) unit offers superior performance, more than any other conventional beam pumping unit. In addition to clockwise and counterclockwise operation, it provides 186 degrees of rotation in the clockwise direction instead of the usual 180 degrees. This additional crank upstroke provides more pump fillage than other units of comparable size.
The Liberty Lift enhanced geometry (EG) unit provides 192 degrees of crank rotation, providing the optimum mechanical efficiency during upstroke. The optimized design promotes higher load ranges of the polished rod without causing torque overload.
To further the long life of Liberty Lift beaming pumping units, they incorporate energy efficient, anti-friction bearings that exceed API design requirements while providing long life without failure or need for maintenance. The structural bearings’ L-10 rating, an accepted industry norm for minimum life before first failure, is exceptional. When compared with competition, Liberty Lift equalizer, wrist pin and saddle bearings provide life expectancies as high as 3.8 times that of other manufacturers’ bearings. In addition to being rugged, the wrist pin bearings are shouldered on the pin to provide easy maintenance.
Liberty Lift gear reducers also add to extended trouble-free operating life. The involute double helical gearing design exceeds API 11E specifications and carries the API monogram. The innovative lubrication system at ground level protects and extends gear reducer life with quiet operation. This efficient lubrication systems allows the units to operate efficiently for long periods at speeds as low as 1 stroke per minute, a big differentiator for those needing to gain additional production and extended life from their well.
The improved unit design also includes additional safety guards and ergonomic features to make operation safer and more efficient. The end result is a beam pumping unit product offering that is at the forefront of quality, longevity, safety, increased productivity and operating efficiency. It is why operators are increasingly choosing Liberty Lift as their beam pumping unit resource.

The Liberty Lift Enhanced Geometry (EG) Pumping Unit offers an advanced configuration that maximizes efficiency, providing its user with a high performance unit that is durable and reliable. The Liberty EG is designed to achieve optimum mechanical efficiency during the pumping cycle’s upstroke, with 192° crank rotation for maximum pump fillage. Its reduced acceleration during the upstroke cycle lowers sucker rod forces and peak torque requirements. Click on tabs below to learn more and contact us with any questions.
