The Liberty Lift DS KD (API D Special Alloy) quenched and tempered sucker rod is engineered for medium to heavily loaded, effectively inhibited corrosive wells where added impact resistance and toughness are critical. Manufactured from AISI 3130M nickel-chromium-molybdenum SBQ steel, the DS KD delivers exceptional strength and impact resistance in demanding applications.
Rods are heated above their critical temperature and quenched to achieve a uniform martensitic grain structure, then tempered to enhance toughness and develop the desired mechanical properties. Quenched and tempered (Q&T) rods are shot-peened to further enhance fatigue resistance. Liberty Lift DS KD rods are engineered to exceed API standards for the D “Special” Sucker Rod.
The Liberty Lift HA (API HA High Strength Alloy) normalized and tempered sucker rod is engineered for heavily loaded, effectively inhibited wells that exceed the capabilities of API grade D applications. Manufactured from AISI 4138MX chromium-molybdenum micro-alloyed SBQ steel, the HA delivers exceptional strength for the most demanding deep-well environments.

Manufactured from AISI 4720SR nickel-chromium-molybdenum micro-alloyed SBQ (Special Bar Quality) steel and subjected to a tailored heat treatment, the DS stands out as one of our most corrosion-tolerant options.

Liberty Lift rod guides use advanced geometries and high-performance polymers to handle high flow rates, corrosive fluids, elevated temperatures, solids and deviated well paths. Two distinct guide styles are available, each engineered for a specific operational need.
The HFLT rod guide is built for high-flow or high-corrosion wells while staying versatile across most applications. Its long, narrow, tapered vanes limit flow disruption through the production, reducing turbulence and flow-induced corrosion. Inhibitors stay on the rod body longer, improving protection and extending run life.
